The slalom course in Asia and the Americas will require a turning radius of 8 m, in Europe it will require a turning radius of 10 m. This is to verify driver skills and steering precision, i.e. that it has no excessive play or undue delay. The turning radius is the distance between the centre of circle and the external wheel of the vehicle. The external wheel of the vehicle must be able to follow a half circle of 8 m / 10 m radius in both directions
